Gladys Wanga
Gladys grew up in a political family. Her father the late John Nyasuna, was a councillor and chairperson of Kisumu County Council. Gladys emulated him and developed interest in politics at an early age. In 2003, when at Kenyatta University she became the first female to be elected as the Secretary General of the Student’s Union. After University she remained active in politics and engaged in ODM party politics while still working in LVCT Health. In her term of service, she seeks empowerment of women and youth and education for the girl child. In parliament, Gladys spearheaded the formation of the Information and Public Communication committee.

(1) There shall be a clerk for each panel, who shall be the secretary to the panel. (2) A clerk to a panel shall be designated by the Secretary to the Tribunal from among the staff of the Tribunal. This is to allow for separate panels of the Tribunal so that they move faster with the cases. It is to allow for designation of clerks to the various panels. view

That is why we currently have 500 cases pending before the Tax Appeals Tribunal. The other idea is to ensure that through this, we are able to deal as quickly as possible with all the tribunals because we are dealing with money. They more they stay, the more. If they have not found the need so far, this is just to push them in that direction. view
