The meetings of committees were closed up to 31st January, 2017. No business was being transacted. All this mess is because the committees were limited, their hands were tied.   • 14 Feb 2017 in Senate: On a point of order, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir. Is Sen. (Prof.) Lonyangapuo in order to include the former Prime Minister in the issue of the ongoing doctors’ strike? He knows very well that the former Prime Minister is not the President of the Republic of Kenya and has no power to work on the solution to end the doctors’ strike. It is the ruling party, the Jubilee Government, under the President, Uhuru Kenyatta that is supposed to address this. Is he in order? view
