  • 25 Jul 2007 in National Assembly: Mr. Nyachae, the amount of money required is a lot. The hon. Member is quite right to find out exactly whether it is one building or many buildings. If it is several buildings, at least, there should be an indication of what those buildings are, so that we can proceed. view

  • 25 Jul 2007 in National Assembly: Mr. Muturi, are you satisfied? view

  • 25 Jul 2007 in National Assembly: Who do you want to inform? view
  • 25 Jul 2007 in National Assembly: Are you informing the Minister or Mr. Muturi? view
  • 25 Jul 2007 in National Assembly: Then, Mr. Ahenda, you are out of order! The procedure is that once you have the Motion printed and it is before the House, you move it as it is on the Order Paper. If you want to make any amendments, somebody else can do that on your behalf later in the debate because you cannot amend your own Motion! view
  • 25 Jul 2007 in National Assembly: Order, Mr. Obwocha! Mr. Nyachae, do you accept to be informed? view
  • 25 Jul 2007 in National Assembly: Order, Mr. Ahenda! I would like to go backwards on that. In terms of Standing Order No.41, if you look at it properly, the Speaker may, actually, allow you to amend your Motion if it does not substantially alter the original Motion. So, I would like to hear what amendment you want to move, so that I can made a decision as to whether it is going to substantially change the original Motion or not. Could you tell us what it is? view
  • 25 Jul 2007 in National Assembly: Order, Mr. Obwocha! Let us follow the procedure. You are an old hon. Member of this House and you know the procedure! If you are July 25, 2007 PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES 2799 informing, we must know who you are informing. The Minister must accept or reject to be informed! view
