This is a Motion we have been waiting for. When we talk about cattle rustling, what comes to mind is the destruction that it has brought in our constituencies, especially in the North Rift region. We have gone through untold suffering. Cattle rustling has been happening for a long time. It has left children maimed, families suffering and properties destroyed. The menace has devastated the region. We have lost so much, including closure of schools. I hope this Motion ... view

When we open up our infrastructure and get more ports, we will enhance trade and the economy will grow. • 30 Mar 2016 in National Assembly: As pastoralists, we fear this Bill. I want to appreciate the Committee for taking us through it. We have sat several times with the Committee to listen to how the Bill is going to operate on our lands. When you come to the maximum and the minimum acreage, pastoralists have a lot fear because we live in a jungle. We feel that the Bill will not work in our areas, but we thank the Committee and the officers at the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development for taking us through the Bill and explaining how it is going to ... view
