• 22 Jun 2016 in National Assembly: Thank you, consumer of cattle rustling. Hon. Deputy Speaker, I was thanking Hon. Cheptumo for bringing this Motion to the House. This is a Motion we have been waiting for. When we talk about cattle rustling, what comes to mind is the destruction that it has brought in our constituencies, especially in the North Rift region. We have gone through untold suffering. Cattle rustling has been happening for a long time. It has left children maimed, families suffering and properties destroyed. • 22 Jun 2016 in National Assembly: should be declared to have committed offences equal to robbery with violence and murder. They should face the law. The victims have suffered so much. Children have been raped, women have been left as widows and men as widowers. Children have been orphaned and subjected to a lot of suffering. Thank you. view

We should support KPA in borrowing the loan, so that we can expand our infrastructure. This country is growing. When we open up our infrastructure and get more ports, we will enhance trade and the economy will grow. I support the idea that KPA be given opportunity to get the loan so long as they are in a position to repay it. • 28 Apr 2016 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. I want to support the amendment by Hon. Nyokabi, which was supported by the Leader of the Majority Party. We have to bear in mind the fact that we are dealing with classified information. We are further saying that those who want to access the information are supposed to request in writing. There must be a desk to receive the information. There should be an officer to deal with the information. view

We have sat several times with the Committee to listen to how the Bill is going to operate on our lands. When you come to the maximum and the minimum acreage, pastoralists have a lot fear because we live in a jungle.
