Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, this matter has been well canvassed. It is not enough just to quote the Standing Order to stop us from debating it because it has generated a lot of public interest. Therefore, it is only in the interest of this House that we be given a chance to debate the report before us. This House is not in the business of determining court cases or providing evidence to the courts of law. Our work is to consider the best interest of the common mwananchi . Martin Luther King Jr. said that- “All labour that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence” You have given yourself time to give a considered judgment on this matter. Is it in order for, Sen. (Dr.) Kabaka to challenge your ruling? That is unparliamentary and unprocedural.
