  • 8 Jun 2022 in National Assembly: There is also funding for the railway from Longonot to Nakuru. There was hue and cry that the railway to Naivasha was ending nowhere. With the provision of these funds, there will be an extension of the Metre Gauge Railway (MGR) from Longonot to Nakuru. This will ensure that goods taken from Longonot to Nakuru join the rest of the MGR and vice versa. There is also enhanced security. Insecurity is everywhere, in North Eastern and the Coast we have heard cases of insecurity.
