This is because, I trust the economist very well. The Committee has not misled this House. Let the Committee know that the evidence they have adduced here will follow suit. Jared Okelo who by extension are also my constituents. For clarity purposes, I want to alert the House that Muhoroni and Nyando used to be the same constituency. This is until a later date when the Independent and Electoral Boundaries Commission (IEBC) found it fit to divide it. Muhoroni remained a farming and industrial station, while Nyando remained a commercial station. So, what affects Muhoroni affects Nyando and view

It is unfortunate that after somebody becomes a Member of Parliament, you naturally adopt the term “ Mheshimiwa ” or “Honourable”. That title should not go away. In Kenya, that title is in tandem with wealth. When people in the constituency call you “Honourable” or “ Mheshimiwa ”, the next thing they want is to articulate to you their problems which you must address by giving them money. That also informs me that I should ask Members to come up with proper legislative programmes for making sure that if the Government of Kenya will provide free education, it must be free. We should not have free education with 100 per cent transition, but classrooms and teachers are not there.
