In fact, there have been instances where, when there are no numbers, we give a little time for people to come in and now I am asking for your discretion. Give us a little more time to find out where other Members have gone.

21 Nov 2018 in Senate:
Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I appreciate the Deputy Senate Majority Leader for requesting for this Statement. However, this is work cut out for the relevant Committee. In fact, she caused the former President, Mwai Kibaki, to migrate to Othaya. Her name was Jael Mbogo. In fact, right now, many people would consider it a nilotic name. There are other names like Ngala from the Coast and Ukambani. In fact, for a long ...

20 Nov 2018 in Senate:
Mr. Speaker, Sir, I will speak briefly on this Bill. From the outset, I support the Bill. Anything that enables county assemblies to be more involved in development projects, whether they are directly undertaken by the counties or are national, there must be an entry point for county governments. This Bill seeks to seal that gap in respect of PPPs and it should with no doubt find support from this House. The only reason I am standing up to speak to this Bill is that there is a cocktail of legislation which needs to be synchronised. Those undertaking this work, ...
