  • 12 Nov 2013 in Senate: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I think this matter is extremely urgent and is a matter of concern to members of the public, including myself. Sen. Sang knows that I am normally very accommodative but on this particular one, I ask for ten days. view
  • 12 Nov 2013 in Senate: And do not allow Sen. Murkomen, he has just come in and does not know what this is all about. view
  • 12 Nov 2013 in Senate: If you allow me, since Sen. Keter has spoken on this, I will oblige. view
  • 12 Nov 2013 in Senate: On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. My understanding is that you gave the distinguished Senator from Nyeri a chance to seek clarification. However, he is now giving us a lecture which I agree with. However, this has been brought at the wrong time. This is a time to request for statements, answers, or clarifications. He has given us a very long lecture which should be given by the Chairman. view
  • 7 Nov 2013 in Senate: Thank you very much Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, for giving me a chance. I think there have been very great speeches today and I would not do dishonor to the great speeches that have been made this afternoon but begin by commending Sen. Mwakwere had taken a page to remind everybody that really, there is no necessity of taking a whole page, you can simply write your name and date and whatever you want to ... view
  • 7 Nov 2013 in Senate: You know, Sen. Murkomen told me at one time that he was party to the drafting of the Coalition Agreement--- view
  • 7 Nov 2013 in Senate: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I am addressing the Chair. view
  • 7 Nov 2013 in Senate: No, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I am just looking at him, but everything that I say is addressed the Chair. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, he told me that he actually took part in the drafting of that Coalition agreement. If what he told me is not correct, then we can have that talk again. But he told me that URP were entitled to 50 per cent--- view
  • 7 Nov 2013 in Senate: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I am there. What I was trying to say is that if you want these titles, then you must have good manners and comply with the Constitution. The Constitution says that in electing governments or establishing institutions, you must show that truly the Kenyan face is reflected. I have gone to all these to show that Chapter Six of the Constitution is very important. All these things that I am talking about are to do with leadership and integrity. These titles come out of those who seek to lead Kenyans. If you want to lead Kenyans, ... view
