Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, thank you very much. First, congratulations for sitting on that Chair. I should be speaking in Kiswahili. You are one of the people who demonstrate that for a language you do not need to be born as part of that community. You can speak the language so effectively. Mr. Speaker, Sir, it is true that I moved a Motion to defer the debate on the Motion for the establishment of the committees in terms of membership because it looked like there was disagreement. I, therefore, asked the House to give the leadership of the House time to consult, and thereafter, if possible, hold a Kamukunji . We have consulted and agreed. At the meeting of the Senate Business Committee (SBC) yesterday, it was agreed that consultation was necessary. The Senate Minority side will hold a consultative meeting tomorrow.
