5 May 2020 in Senate:
If Sen. Sakaja goes to the records, he will find whatever happened, including what the Kibaki Government did with to the people of Budalang’i. As soon as the Jubilee Government took over, when the President went there, even a bridge that they tried to build crashed. Hiyo ndio sura ya Jubilee kwaukweli. You must wake up. This is the time to wake up.

5 May 2020 in Senate:
Mr. Speaker, Sir, I support this Statement. The last component of that Statement is very important. It is on the question of compliance with court orders. I sit in that Committee with Sen. Mutula Kilonzo Jnr. we should come out with a firm answer. That answer should come from the top to tell us why it is ...

Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, let me also thank Sen. Khaniri for coming up with this timely Statement. I congratulate him similarly for quite often coming up with Statements like this which are very important. 28 Apr 2020 in Senate:
In Kenya, we are giving out one mask a day while Senegal and some countries like South Africa and Ghana are paying rent for their citizens in the major towns. At least in Kenya, we should be able to make a social response, an intervention on behalf of the people of Kenya. Otherwise, saying that we have allocated Kshs40 billion and there is nothing to show for it on the ground, I think that the country is not going to believe what is happening. It is high time that we lived to the country’s expectations. I am delighted to note ...

28 Apr 2020 in Senate:
On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. The Chair should not be speaking in vain. Whenever the Chair gives a directive, the Clerks must make sure that that matter is reflected on the Order Paper. If Sen. Wetangula had not risen to bring that to our attention, it could have simply disappeared. Once the Chair has given a directive, the matter belongs to the House and should appear on the Order Paper.
