On a point of order, hon. Deputy Speaker. It is only that you cut me short when I was asking my question. I am surprised that when we ask for Statements, we do not get what we expect. For example, I sought a Statement, but instead of getting a report, it is a lawyer who was brought to talk to us. So, I want to know whether it is in order when Chairmen are asked questions, they bring lawyers to the Members of Parliament. Is that in order? Hon. Speaker, first and foremost, I want to thank hon. Mbadi for moving this amendment for a clear reason. Regional representation is very important in this country. It is very disappointing to have Members from the same region to represent us.

Thank you, hon. Deputy Speaker. Pursuant to Standing Order No.44(2)(c), I hereby request for a Statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Transport, Public Works and Housing concerning the recent move by Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) to repossess the Duty Free Shops owned by Diplomatic Duty Free (DDF) Limited Company. The decision by KAA to repossess the Duty Free Shops was in defiance of a court order issued on 30th July, 2013, prohibiting them from repossessing or attempting to repossess the premises rented to DDF Limited under a lease dated 5th March, 2007 and 14th September, 2007.
