We are making these laws for posterity. We are making these laws in this country for those many generations which will come. We would have wished to have a country with only two or three parties like we have in other countries, but we do not have that country. Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker. I also wish to condole with the people of Nyakach and the Member of Parliament who are with us for the loss of that great hero. Most of us never knew him but we read in the papers of his participation in the struggle for multi-partyism. This country lived during through an era we normally call the “Dark Age” when Members were not allowed to think and move freely. Hon. Deputy Speaker, this gentleman fought for it. I am one of the Members who vehemently opposed this Report because of a few glaring issues which have been amended. As it is now, the document still has gray areas. I believe that we will have an opportunity to look at it when it comes to this House as a Bill or we will have an opportunity to relook at those areas which we think are very offensive and unconstitutional.
