  • 25 Jun 2015 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker. I am very happy and I know that people from Mumias are also happy. Kenyans who use their products are also happy. I wish we would be proactive so that we do not just wait until something goes wrong and then rush to help. We need to be very proactive as a Government. We also need to bail out Mumias Sugar Company. We should not just be giving them Kshs2 billion - Kshs2 billion is just peanuts. We need to bail other organizations, and not only Mumias Sugar Company. I wish the Chair could listen ... view

  • 25 Jun 2015 in National Assembly: Thank you very much, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for this opportunity to support the Report of the Public Investments Committee (PIC. I sit in that Committee and I want to say that great work was done. I must congratulate the Chair for the way he steered the Committee through the several audit activities that we did. • 23 Jun 2015 in National Assembly: Relax! I am on a point of order. I want the Chairperson to name the persons if that is the direction we have to go as a country. It is only this House that can name and shame the land grabbers so that we do not just say, “some people” and we leave the Report like that. We have to name and deal with them. I hope the Chairperson will do that. view
