Three years ago, the then Prime Minister announced that people in the North Rift will not pay fees due to drought. Due to this, students refused to pay fees and there was no money from the Government. On two occasions this year, live on our television, we saw security officers working for the KWS shedding tears and crying next to dead elephants. Could the Chairman clarify what scenario was being shown to Kenyans? Officers who are supposed to be protecting animals are very helpless. What is the missing link that can lead to the scenario where the protector, with a gun, would cry? view
• 16 Jul 2014 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Madam Temporary Speaker. Would I be in order to say that we are debating an issue that we do not even have a document to refer to? As you rightfully ruled earlier, there is an illegal document that should be replaced and a proper one brought. Every Member should also get a copy of the same so that Kakamega does not appear as if it has a shortage of support. Other counties also have the same problems. Would I be in order to say that? view
