Mr. Speaker, Sir, let me first of all apologise for yesterday morning. This Question was on the Order Paper but, as I have subsequently explained to the Chair, this Question has three elements. It has the issue of animals. There is the allegation about animals having died. It also has an element of a chemical that is alleged to have killed lions. On a point or order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. The hon. Member has tabled dry maize seeds. However, the use of the words âchronic consumptionâ must be linked with the sample that is here. Could he explain whether the maize seeds he tabled here contains what would amount to chronic consumption?

Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, I rise to support this Motion because it is a Motion whose background, as read out here by the Chair of the Joint Committee and supported by the Vice-Chairman, gives fairly a good background on the amount of the work that the Committee has put into ascertaining the truth of this matter. The approach adopted by the Committee, and in particular their outlook regarding the circumstances, is very mature and noble.
