We need to fix the bridges that have broken down, and inform the Ministry of Health to provide medicine to those areas. So, I am co-ordinating all these activities. In the case of Mombasa, we know that the problem has been the blockage of the sewerage system. We are linking up with the Ministry of Local Government to have that problem fixed. Thank you. view

The mission recommended ... view
  • 18 Apr 2006 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, we all know that working with the development partners in food distribution is a standard international system. I think NGOs are efficient and have the capacity to distribute food. They spend a lot of time and resources in the distribution of food. The Government, with the help of the NGOs, has always distributed relief food to Kenyans well. view
