From the outset, I congratulate Sen. (Dr.) Musuruve for being a champion of PWDs in this Parliament. In the last Parliament and in this one, we have had Sen. Mwaura. Therefore, I wish all the PWDs in this country a happy International Day of PWDs. I hear the estimates from Sen. (Dr.) Mwaura are close to four million. As a Committee, we will continue to push for the realisation of their rights as provided for in Article 27 of the Constitution and to bring legislative interventions to support them. Thank you. view
