  • 23 Apr 2014 in National Assembly: Yes, so I would rather we amend and say, “At least Thirty per cent of the value of procurement in every financial year.” Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, Subclause 9 be further amended by inserting the word “value” after the word “procurement” in the third sentence of the paragraph. view
  • 23 Apr 2014 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, again, I am not hon. Millie Odhiambo but allow me to stand in for her. • 23 Apr 2014 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, it is for that very reason that we are in this House. We are making laws. I would like to urge you to use your great wisdom and invoke Standing Order No.1, so that we can finish the business of this because the Value Added Tax (Amendment) Bill and the Public Procurement and Disposal (Amendment) Bill are things that a lot of Kenyans are waiting for. We cannot push them to next week. The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly. A certified version of this Report can be obtained from the ... view
