  • 18 Apr 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, allow me to thank the Assistant Minister for attempting to answer the Question. This water project was actually commissioned in 1976. It was re-designed to enable just a quarter of the population in that area to get water. Since the time it was re-designed to-date, nothing much has been done. Is the Assistant Minister in order to say that he has given Kshs4 million to the constituency to sort out the water problem when the programme for that Kshs4 million cannot serve even a single sub-location or even 400 people in my constituency? That project has not even been completed since they gave out the money.
