  • 20 Apr 2006 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, could the Assistant Minister order for the arrest of the Officer Commanding Station (OCS) for holding the child illegally? view
  • 20 Apr 2006 in National Assembly: asked the Minister of State, Office of the President, what action he has taken to ensure that security tenders will never again be used to encourage corruption. view
  • 20 Apr 2006 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I am very disappointed given what we have all gone through in the last few weeks. The Minister has proposed that we stick to the current system, which has led to chaos in procurement for security equipment. Could he consider involving a Parliamentary Committee to oversee the procedures he has talked about, so that Kenyans can be assured that corruption that has been going on in procurement of security equipment over the last 42 years will not happen again? view

If we do not do it now, our children will have no hope in us as leaders. Mr. Speaker, Sir, it ... view

  • 6 Apr 2006 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I also want to draw the attention of this House on the need to keep a very strong oversight role in our functions. The Anglo Leasing contracts were, in fact, approved by this House. I have seen this record in the second last page of the Printed Estimates under External Debts. If you look at that section, it clearly talks of items such as Silverson, Anglo Leasing, Midland bank et cetera . All the things we see here were, in fact, approved by this House. This is a very good lesson for this House, so that, in ... view
  • 6 Apr 2006 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, all I have done is to give that example from the Holy Bible. Let us admit, we have done it. I have said, including myself--- view
  • 6 Apr 2006 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, that is the end of my preaching. I will not preach in a mosque or a church--- view
  • 6 Apr 2006 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, that was my next point. I agree--- view
