  • 28 Mar 2019 in National Assembly: and the actors repeat it. At that particular time, we said that there was conflict of interest between the then Chairman and the CEO. They were unable to work because of the conflict of interest. There were about three procurement committees that were not able to procure the BVR kits. The same thing was repeated in the previous election. If we do not do anything about it, the same thing is likely to be repeated in 2022. It is time we sat down as Parliament and asked whether we should come up with reports that are never implemented. That is ... view
  • 28 Mar 2019 in National Assembly: where the chairman openly accuses the CEO. You remember before the repeat election, the Chairman of the Commission put the CEO to task even before other bodies did so. If you are a serious chairman, you should support your CEO to the hilt instead of engaging in mob justice against your CEO like other Kenyans. Despite the fact that the Chairman was supported by some Members, he erred. How can you accuse your CEO before investigations are conducted? You are showing your house is not in order yet you are the chairman of that particular organisation. You ought to support ... view
  • 27 Feb 2019 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I do not know why it is creating interest while I am standing. All the same, I want to contribute to this very important Report by the Special Funds Accounts Committee that has gone round and has come up with a report of the NG-CDF Accounts of Kisumu County. It did the same for the Nairobi County. Thank you very much. Continue doing this. I hope you will do the same to other counties. I want to let the Kenyans know about the NG-CDF model because it is one that needs to be understood ... view
  • 27 Feb 2019 in National Assembly: money, I will be able to renovate all the schools and supervise the same. Some of the primary schools do not have desks. And there is not enough money to buy desks because the amount of money that goes to the constituencies is very little. Divide the money that we get with the wards that we have. For example, we get about Kshs100 million and deduct the amount for administration. Suppose you are left with about Kshs70 million, divide it by about five wards, you will find it is very little money. It is less than Kshs20 million going to ... view
  • 27 Feb 2019 in National Assembly: Lastly, before I sit down, I want to let Kenyans know that Members of Parliament are not as bad as they are portrayed. I am saying that because the media is always against the leadership, including the MPs. That demoralises the genuine people on the ground who would like to serve Kenyans. I think they should be taken as being part of the society. They are people who are ready to serve this country. They too want to see the good future of this country. So, I support and I thank you for giving me this chance. view
  • 20 Feb 2019 in National Assembly: Nilikuwa nikisema kulikuwa na kijana mmoja ambaye aliambia mke wake aende hospitali KNH.
  • 20 Feb 2019 in National Assembly: hiyo maiti ingeweza kuondolewa KNH.
  • 19 Feb 2019 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Speaker, let me take this opportunity to thank the Member of Parliament for Kajiado West for bringing this very sensitive issue on the partition of Oltiyani Village that has existed since 1984 when President Moi gave out that particular piece of land. The family involved has been struggling to get title deeds. It is high time the Departmental Committee on Lands went there and released the land to them because there is a very good demarcation - it is only four yards from where the animals live. May they get what they deserve. Thank you. I support. view
