Speaker, I rise to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Coordination of national Government: (i) whether he is aware that there are numerous police roadblocks manning the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway which end up disrupting traffic flow and greatly inconveniencing motorists and traders; and, (ii) what measures the Ministry is putting in place to ensure that traffic flow is enhanced along the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway and the number of road blocks is minimised. view

I support the allocation to the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, but I have some reservations because Baringo Central is one of the areas where we have a lot of forestry cover. The Ministry of Environment and Forestry has not done enough. People are destroying our forests because of lack of personnel.
