If the current Act is repealed, they will be able to have the regulations, open up the Fund and attract funds from elsewhere, so that all senior members of our society who are old and qualify to receive the Inua Jamii funds can do so. On the first one, it is true that this country cannot rely on rainfall for its food production any longer. We would encourage the Government to continue with the programme that it is currently undertaking on doing water pans to harvest water and to complete the irrigation schemes that are on-going.
