Temporary Deputy Speaker, I commend the Jubilee Government which has made available money to compensate those communities, but the process has been slow at the National Irrigation Board. Three months ago, we negotiated for about Kshs200 million to be paid to farmers. That money was made available but three months later, only Kshs28 million has been disbursed.
