  • 9 Feb 2022 in National Assembly: In Machakos, we have community health volunteers and there is no doubt we see the work they do in the community. With the much effort, they have done a lot. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, they came in handy. We have our teenage pregnant young girls and we saw the way the community health volunteers worked and walked with our young girls. They also brought awareness of the COVID-19 and the regulations, more so in the funerals and in places where we had events. This is a good opportunity for us to open our services as a country because we normally depend on tourism a lot. Those services will help us get more tourists from Russia. We have heard there is a lot of hindrance because you have to connect flights at different destinations in order to get to Russia.
