  • 17 Oct 2019 in Senate: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I do better in both. Probably, I just used the wrong term. However, it is not a wrong term as it were, because if a House has resolved on a matter that has been communicated and debated by the House, it is the resolution of the House that is weightier than a second ruling by the Speaker. Mr. Deputy Speaker Sir, when you look at a review by the Speaker, I believe that the Speaker can only review upon an application. view

As a House, we proceeded and did our job, and did not stop anybody from proceeding with their mandates in their several aspects of life. Let us not go back on these gains and what have pronounced ourselves on. Let us respect the resolutions of this House, and I know ... view
  • 2 Oct 2019 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I wonder whether Sen. Mwangi has not added insult to injury by mentioning tribes when, initially, Sen. Wetangula did not mention any tribe. I think he should withdraw and apologise. We are proud of our diversity and should not insinuate at any moment that there is a tribe that is suppressed. He should withdraw that statement. view
  • 2 Oct 2019 in Senate: Order, Senate Majority Leader! Mr. Speaker is not on the Chair because we have Madam Temporary Speaker. You have continuously referred to me as Mr. Speaker. view
  • 2 Oct 2019 in Senate: What is your point of order, Sen. Murkomen? view
  • 2 Oct 2019 in Senate: What is your point of order, Sen. (Prof.) Ongeri? view
