As you alluded to, the Judicial Service Commission has a different constitution from the other commissions. It is just like the Parliamentary Service Commission. They have 11 members while others have between 3 to 9 members. The JSC needs a ruling of this nature to govern it. I think some of what the Judiciary is complaining about might be genuine and we need to listen to them as a House. But I am wondering what the Committee will achieve, as you just said. The courts have powers on their own. The biggest tool the Judiciary has is a court order.
