Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I am just confused, if you could help me. I do not know whether I am the only one who is getting confused. I was of the view that we were dealing with a further amendment that Hon. Kaluma brought in the middle of things. He had a written one which was saying seven years. Then, he rose to say that now he would prefer three years. So, in my view, we were dealing with that further amendment. After we are through with that further amendment, now we go to what Hon. Kaluma is proposing. That ...

In terms of record, I thought we were dealing with a further amendment of seven years to three years. Then after that one of three years, which amendment has been defeated, it means that we are now dealing with the proposal of seven years. So, it is the proposal of seven years that you will now put the Question on. After that, we will go to back to the Bill. So, I am getting confused. I do not know if Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman you could give guidance on this one.

Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, thank you very much. Sometimes it occurs that Members sometimes get a little carried away and also overly excited. I have ...

Member for Homa Bay through the Speaker and Member for Suba South. You see, I would have thought that we had intended to save them from these trajectories but I will have to read the velum copy to know exactly where we are in so far as slay queens are concerned.

Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, today it looks like the Member for Garissa Township is in problems because mine also relates to him. I am not worried about the BBI. The BBI is in safe hands. I am worried about the last sentence that the Member for Garissa Township made, that they will have their Government. If it is not explained properly, is it in order that the Member for Garissa Township can imply what sounds seditious or, in fact, treasonable, that he intends to have his Government in a Republic of Kenya which is united under one President or under ...

Actually, that is misogyny directed at a woman of high standing as the Chair. That is a very serious altercation that should not come from an honourable Member. Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, my point of order relates to… First of all, I appreciate the good job the Chair is doing. I also noticed that the Chair came in the middle when we were just transiting from one Committee to the other. In a case in which a particular amendment has several subsets or if the Chair has had to change her mind on certain things guided by the Members, we ...
