  • 18 Jun 2014 in National Assembly: Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me an opportunity to contribute to this Bill. I want to thank my friend and local Member of Parliament, hon. Mbadi, for bringing this Bill and for thinking positively for the people who have served this country so gallantly. I want to go on record as supporting this Bill. This Bill recognises service to the nation from people who have put their time and sacrificed to serve this nation. We need to recognise them for the offices that they have held. We also need to reward service so that you and I, ... view

  • 18 Jun 2014 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, with that information, I stand corrected and I think that the amendment will make the Bill better. view
  • 18 Jun 2014 in National Assembly: Sorry, hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. view
  • 18 Jun 2014 in National Assembly: Thank you. I think this is a Bill that we need to support from both sides of the political divide. It is a Bill that we should participate in without politicking and we just need to look at the law and pass it. Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, for allowing me to contribute. view
  • 18 Jun 2014 in National Assembly: Just finalise that point. view
  • 18 Jun 2014 in National Assembly: Before you sit down, is there not a legislation dealing with Presidential Award or Head of State Commendation? view
