I think we need to have some type of order in sentencing in Kenya. The thinking of the Committee looks like Kshs5 million is as punitive a sentence as two years but, before, Kshs500,000 was being equated to three years. I think at some point, Leader of the Majority Party, it will be good to have a Bill which tries to harmonise as much of these sentences as possible.
