  • 26 May 2009 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I beg to ask the Minister of State for Provincial Administration and Internal Security the following Question by Private Notice. Could the Minister explain the Government position on the exposure of the fraudulent activities of Track-It Ltd as exposed by the local media? What is the Government doing to ensure the security of the journalists who exposed the fraud? What is the role of security forces in the matter including possible corrupt involvement and cover-up? view
  • 26 May 2009 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I have no interest whatsoever in this case other than to ask for the safety of the journalists who have done a good job in exposing scams in this country. Their lives are in danger and that is why we need the Government to tell us whether the journalists who unearthed this scam did not report this matter to the police. What action has the Assistant Minister taken? view

However, given that the substantive Minister has come in, maybe, he is in a position to answer the Question. view
  • 20 May 2009 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, while I thank the Minister for that good answer, I just want him to tell this House how he allocated the fertilizer to Mutito sub-depot and yet, it is closed and does not operate. How is that possible? view
  • 20 May 2009 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, this is indeed a good example of how a Minister should be working. I want to commend the Minister for a job well done. view
  • 20 May 2009 in National Assembly: On a point order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. In your previous ruling, I thought you said that when the Prime Minister finishes answering a Question, hon. Members will shoot up and you pick a few of them, so that they can start asking supplementary questions for the Prime Minister to answer. Now I have seen that you have pointed at Mr. Mungatana, yet there are other hon. Members! You have not told us the order of events! view
  • 20 May 2009 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I thank the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance for that answer. However, I would like him to confirm that the National AIDS and STD Control Programme (NASCOP) has left the Ministry of Medical Services for the Ministry of Public Health and Sanitation. What was the rationale for that? Could he also assure this House that the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) view
