How much has the Assistant Minister set aside now that he has said that he has funds? Could he tell the people of Ikutha how much money he has set aside to complete this market? As everybody is saying, this is a problem all over the country, including Mutito Constituency. view

At that time the Assistant Minister came here and said the money they had set aside was Kshs3 million. You directed the Assistant Minister to go back and come up with a specific answer on the money which is supposed to be spent on this part after I said the area was in a very bad state. • 6 Jun 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I want to reiterate my question that the area of Ngai Ndethya was tarmacked but the tarmac has since worn out. An amount of Kshs3.6 million cannot even tarmack 100 meters. Since the Assistant Minister says that they are going to repair this section, how much more does the Ministry intend to use to re-carpet this area? Kshs3 million is not enough. I have visited this area with the good Minister and Assistant Minister and they promised to put in a lot more. view

To uphold dignity of this House, we must ensure that when the report comes to the Floor of the House, it has to be tabled first before issues are raised. view
