Madam Deputy Speaker that is exactly my response. Sen. Pareno was running a very big political party as a director of elections. I understand her confusion at the moment because since this “handshake” she does not know whether she is in the movement or the opposition. For those of us who have a clear mind of the policies of the future--- Sen. Wetangula put it very well. The people who are listening to us and debating this Start-Up Bill will want to--

Madam Deputy Speaker, we are actually giving hope to the people of Kenya that the future of this Bill is safe.

Its implementation will be achieved when the “hustler nation” takes over. Just to emphasize to Sen. Pareno that I have no issue with her understanding of what I said. I just empathize with her and wish she had clarity of mind on what they were going to do if they were elected to run this country.

Madam Deputy Speaker, all of us here represent a particular brand of ideology and politics that does not escape the people of Kenya when we give our contributions. On behalf of the “hustler nation,” I would like to tell Sen. Sakaja that we fully support this Bill. We will work together on the amendments that are there. Sen. Sakaja does not belong to those of the bottom-up approach. I would like to welcome him to the bottom-up approach economics for the benefit of this county.

On a point of order, Madam Deputy Speaker. Did you hear Sen. Olekina make his situation even worse? I understand where the Senate Majority Leader is coming from. We do not have an issue with Sen. Olekina’s traditional attire because it looks like a woman’s skirt. However, in most cases, we have had to warn Sen. Olekina to sit properly because women are used to sit in a particular way when dressed in skirts.

To make his situation worse, Sen. Olekina is insisting that even being naked is properly dressed as a Senator. The reason why our Standing Orders are very clear on how a Senator should dress is because there is a prescribed dress code for all Senators and the Senate Majority Leader is perfectly in order to recognize the fact that today, we will not struggle to ensure that Sen. Olekina sits properly.

On a point of information, Madam Deputy Speaker. Sen. Poghisio is the one who put me into this trouble. I would therefore like to inform him that I did not say that dressing like a lady is wrong. It is actually the best thing. I also did not say that I do not know how Maasai men dress. Maasai men’s traditional attire is similar to that of the Marakwet and Keiyo men. What I said is that, by dressing in a particular
