  • 12 May 2020 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I am aware of the Standing Order. I am clear in my debate. I am within the debating rules. I want to conclude by saying that I hope by removing Sen. Susan Kihika and I un-procedurally, illegally and unconstitutionally, it will improve the relationship between this House and the National Assembly and also the Executive promises to this House. I hope that the President will not sign any other Bill that concerns counties that does not come through this House. I will remain focused on the rule of law and on the things that affect ... view

  • 12 May 2020 in Senate: squatter to come to this House. To my adversaries, you can celebrate, cheer and be happy. I will come back big. With those remarks, I know you will say the conduct of the Speaker is put in doubt. You are my friend. I have known you for long. You have been a District Commissioner (DC) in my place and I knew you when you were governor. I defended you when Sen. Orengo and Sen. Wetangula wanted to bring certain documents against you. This is not your decision. You made it under duress and undue influence. view

  • 12 May 2020 in Senate: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I thank Sen. Khaniri, Sir, George as I call him, for the kind words of encouragement. He was doing so well until he contradicted himself that he resurrected and we will also resurrect the third day like Jesus Christ. Is he in order to contradict himself by saying we cannot fight anything yet he says he is a testimony that despite all he went through, he is still in this House and he resurrected? view

  • 12 May 2020 in Senate: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I would like to inform Sen. Kihika and consequently the House that the communication from our party, which is now public because it came to Parliament, was made elsewhere. It is important for the House to know that the Speaker communicated that 20 Senators allegedly participated in the signing of that ouster document. Out of 20 Senators, one is an independent. When the Speaker retires to give his ruling, we will be keen to listen to it because we do not want to criticize him here. He promised to give a longer ruling in keeping with ... view
  • 12 May 2020 in Senate: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the last thing I would like to inform Sen. Kihika is that, in that ruling of the Speaker, I will be more interested to know in what circumstances the Speaker - and the House - is bound by court orders and not orders of tribunals in matters that have been ruled. I am not talking about the procedure of the House and debate in the House, but how Parliament works. This is because the Speaker communicated a process injuncted outside there. I want to go on record that I was there when Sen. Kihika served the ... view
