It is not just these ones. You can see these are just bursaries and water companies. What about the main reports? Through you, Chair, we request that that Committee, through The Speaker’s Office, can - even if it means arrangement of a kamukunji within a week’s time and agree on how to deal with these reports. However, is he in order to say that there are strategies and that they are working hard when yesterday you deferred Motions relating to reports of counties because there was no one from the Committee to move them? Can they show a little bit more seriousness on this important matter? view

This is an extremely important Bill pursuant to a constitutional provision that demands that we align the existing Acts of Parliament including the Physical Planning Act to be in consonance with the Constitution. I am very proud of the work that is being done by the County Assembly of Elgeyo-Marakwet. It is a very robust, hardworking and committed County Assembly. • 11 Sep 2018 in Senate: I hope, Madam Temporary Speaker, like we did for Tharaka-Nithi, Nyandarua and Tana River, when I come with a Motion to support the County Assembly of Elgeyo- Markwet to have good facilities, especially offices for the County Assembly staff like we have in your county and other counties, and I am not saying that you should be excluded, but on this matter, we are part of the counties that did not have the advantage of having the county council facilities that are good enough to hold a proper county assembly with offices. This Petition is important because it deals with the issue of health and environment. It calls for the responsibility of state agencies, in this case, the Kenya Pipeline Corporation (KPC) to be more responsible. view

Unfortunately, at the same place where they work, there is a sewer with a lot of dirt around the place. That was on Ngong Road leave alone Kibera, Mukuru kwa Njenga, Mathare and many parts of this country. It is time we woke up as a nation.
