(Prof) Kindiki): Madam Temporary Speaker, I beg to move:- THAT, the Forest Conservation and Management Bill (National Assembly Bill No. 49 of 2015) be now read a Second Time. This is one of the Bills that are required to be in place, to align the forestry sector to the new Constitution of Kenya (2010.) I also wish to thank the Senator for Nyamira, Sen. Okong’o, for his contribution also in support of this Bill. It is hoped that when this Bill goes to the Committee, any amendments, including some of the suggestions that have made by both contributors, will be considered.
