Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I would like to, first of, all congratulate the Committee Members for doing a very good job. I have been in their situation before and it is not an easy job. The weight that was on their shoulders was not an easy one and they have performed their task professionally and to the requirements of the law. It is to guide you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. Suffice to note that what Sen. (Prof.) Kindiki is talking about is not a Bill yet; they are just proposals by various people. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I just wanted to note that Article 181 of the Constitution on grounds of removal include abuse of office or gross misconduct. Had the charges been brought under Article 181(c) on abuse of office, or if in future, the question of charges of abuse of office are to be brought in relation to any Governor, the question of gross violation does not arise.
