  • 25 Apr 2023 in Senate: First, I rise in support of this Motion on a critical matter in Kilifi County. It is quite unfortunate that an activity of such magnitude has resulted in 89 deaths. We do not know how many more will come up. The most astonishing thing is the fact that in this country, more than 89 people can die and buried without any alarm from any security quarters.   • 18 Apr 2023 in Senate: Accordingly, on 25th January, 2023, the Committee resolved to conduct induction and work planning retreat from16th to 20th February, 2023, in Kwale County. However, owing to unavoidable circumstances, the meeting had to be rescheduled. The Committee has since resolved to split the induction retreat into a series of targeted meetings with stakeholders from this week, Thursday, 13th to Saturday, 15th April, 2023, in Kiambu County.
