The reason we need to integrate with training is so that we have capacity that, that project had a lot of structural constructions, that required very high expertise. Our universities and local contractors, if within the framework would have been involved in that project, within three or four-years’ time, it will be unnecessary to have international tenders for them to carry.   • 4 Oct 2022 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, Sir, this is an important Motion. As the Senator for Uasin Gishu County and having served as a governor, the importance of the SBC cannot be understated. We need to get the Senate to its feet in order to discharge its mandate. The blame should not be on us when county governments are waiting for this House to make important decisions to enable them unlock some funds that are being held because of the laws that we need to amend.
