Mr. Temporary Chairman, Sir, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 22 of the Bill be amended by inserting the following new sub-clause immediately after sub-clause (1) – (1A) The Authority may, where the exploration activity involves drilling or an activity that is likely to alter the land on which the exploration activity is being undertaken, require an applicant to submit, together with the application under subsection (1) an environmental impact assessment license obtained under Section 63 of the Environmental Management and Co-ordination Act.
