This relates not only to one particular person, but former state office holders. It is not in the prerogative of one body to determine when a particular former state officer is entitled by law to have security. I want the people of Narok County to realise that when the Supreme Court delivered its judgment, it was very clear. It was clear that the IEBC was given 60 days to conduct an election within the law and Constitution. I oppose this Motion because it seeks to amend the Constitution through the back door.
