  • 11 Nov 2014 in National Assembly: Yes, hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, I have a right to be heard. For Kenya to remember and to know because you do not understand, I want to tell you this: Kapedo is like Lesotho in South Africa where South Africa is Pokot and Lesotho is Kapedo. So, where is that? It is in South Africa! Let us not beat about the bush. I respect the Inspector-General. He was the OCPD in Baringo. When he was OCPD, Kapedo was part and parcel of Turkana County. What I am saying as a way forward is that my Government has to immediately have ... view

  • 20 Aug 2014 in National Assembly: Thank you, hon. Deputy Speaker. I would like to thank the Chairman and seek further clarifications. You may recall that in 2009 to 2011 there was a big problem facing albinos in the Great Lakes region; I remember that their skins were being used for medicinal purposes. view

That is why I have a problem with my brother approaching this question from a social welfare point of view. This is reducing its value. view

  • 13 Aug 2014 in National Assembly: (a) any expenditure incurred by the Authority in the exercise of its powers under this Act; and (b) monies for the expenditure of the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority in accordance with section 3(3) of the Air Passenger Service Act. view
  • 13 Aug 2014 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, if you look at the Air Passenger Act, the principal proposal here is Section 3(3). It is introducing KCCA to the Air Passenger Service Fund. The problem - that is why I am bringing this amendment – is whether we should even go with this one; Section 17C does not allow anybody else to get into the Fund and, therefore, even if we were to pass it as it is then money will not be paid out of the Fund. It will only be paid for the expenditure of KAA. I am, therefore, proposing that we ... view
