Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 7 of the Bill be amended - (a) in Subclause (1), in paragraph (a), by inserting the words "and animal" immediately after the words "safety of human"; (b) in Subclause (2), by inserting a new paragraph immediately (g) establish and maintain a biosafety clearing house to serve as a means through which information is made available and facilitate the exchange of scientific, technical, environmental and legal information on, and experience with, living modified organisms.
