  • 5 Sep 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I would like to thank the Assistant Minister for the answer he has given this morning. However, I do not know whether he can tell us considering that tea farmers do not enjoy any subsidies like coffee and wheat farmers, why it was found necessary to increase this tax which continues to deplete the meagre earnings of tea farmers, and when the cost of living has hit the roof. view

Why can they not be treated the same because they are all armed forces of this country? view
  • 24 Aug 2012 in National Assembly: Madam Temporary Deputy Chairlady, you have spotted me at long last. We have been blaming the NSIS for a long time. I think when they give information, it is important we know if the information was, indeed, passed and what happened to the information that was given to the user. If we do not support this, it will be very dangerous for us. So, we have to be very careful because this is really a matter of security. view
