As I support, I want to make comments on about three areas. First, it is the issue of county governments’ equitable share which has risen by a small margin of 4 per cent. I believe we could do better because the development that has taken place over the past five years has not given us the impact that we were looking for when we were clamouring for devolution. Senator for this Assumption of Office of the County Governor Bill, 2018. I support it wholeheartedly because it has tightened quite a number of loose areas. I want to join colleagues who have said that the experience we have had in the first handing over of the first governor to the second ones had a lot of challenges but this Bill has largely addressed them.
