However, the arrival of the teaching and referral hospital has not been a blessing to the community around it. Instead, it has been a burden, because the District Hospital was not compensated hence Uasin Gishu residents have been left to flock MTRH with minor ailments which should be handled by a district hospital or Level 5 hospital. view
