Madam Temporary Speaker, we need to relook at our cultural fabric. Issues of culture and social being need to be encouraged. In the recent days, we have seen young couples killing each other because of misunderstandings that can easily be reconciled within our cultural procedures. Our education curriculum should have something to do with the new emerging issues, for example, the short and long term impacts of the pandemic and how to address them. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, this is a crosscutting issue in all our urban areas in our counties. I think KeNHA is living in the past. You will find a whole highway passing between a town without dropping points. Passengers are just dropped on the road and there are no flyovers and zebra crossings on the highways. Footpaths are also not there. That is a crisis! The committee should invite the institutions concerned. Many of us will engage them and find out why KeNHA has taken so much time to think about road designs in areas where populations are growing so ...
