• 26 Sep 2023 in National Assembly: County assemblies are, therefore, called to complement good legislative practices by proactively and robustly taking up the constitutional and statutory rules as espoused under Article 185 of the Constitution and Sections eight and nine of the County Governments Act to bring the executive to account. In this respect, the Senate is willing to partner with the county assemblies to ensure that devolution works.
